David, now President and son of the founder, was with company from the beginning.

Joe Hon was hired on in 1982 and now oversees the operational side of the business.

Dennis McQueeney was hired in 1987 and is now a manager of one of  our warehouses.

These 3 people are the constants of our organization. Combined they have 104 years of experience as 3PL Provider.

A History of Experience and Value

The company was started by the current president’s father, George Poole, in 1978 as MAR Corporation. Mar Corp did weighing and sampling of commodities ion the piers of Norfolk, VA. They used the warehouse to do reconditioning of any damaged product found during inspections. The commodities were mostly rubber and cocoa, which are still handled by US Port Services today. In the mid 80”s we began to handle “thawed” rubber that had been stockpiled by the US government during WWII.

Our head salesman and business developer, Bob Gustafson has over 40 years in the business. That makes it 4 people and 144 years of experience. We get the job done when others don’t know how.

Rubber Warehousing
  • 1978 - MAR CORPORATION

    Founded by George Poole the company weighed and sampled comodities at the Norfolk Port. They utilized a warehouse to recondition faulty commodities found during inspection.
  • 1980's - GOVERNMENT GOODS

    We handled “thawed” rubber that had been stockpiled by the US government during WWII.
  • 2013 - SAVANNAH GEORGIA WAREHOUSE

    At the request of one of our customers in order to be able to handle a heavy load of paper products for them. We now handle many more products in the Savannah warehouse.
  • 2017 - MODERN 3PL PRACTICES

    We now have over 220,000 sq. ft. of storage space in Hampton  Roads.
